PHYSICIAN SPECIALIST OPT B - State of Illinois : Job Details

The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire a Physician Specialist Option B for the Chester Mental Health Center located in Chester, Illinois. As a non-administrative Illinois licensed Physician, utilizes knowledge of medical practice and techniques of a Board Certified physician in Family Practice, providing delivery of medical services to recipients and in consulting with other staff members concerning the medical status and treatment of patients and/or staff. Chester Mental Health Center strives to assist patients to achieve their full recovery potential. Essential Functions Conducts thorough and comprehensive medical studies of recipients including mental and physical examinations, orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic procedures, conducts general medicine clinics for recipients and prescribes medications and medical treatments as a practicing family care practitioner.
