Physician Recruiter (Remote)

*Must have experience recruiting for Specialty Doctors*

Fully remote with 15% travel around NY Tristate Area

$90,000-$110,000 + up to 10% bonus

THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

We re looking for a Physician Recruiter to join our team that will play a crucial role in our growth and success by actively sourcing, screening, and recruiting highly qualified Ophthalmologists to join our practice. This individual will have direct responsibility for developing a strategic recruitment framework which includes building relationships with medical training programs, professional associations and attending job fairs and conferences and posting job openings that will attract qualified candidates, The job requires excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and strategic planning capabilities to meet both our short-term and long-term staffing requirements. You will serve as the brand ambassador across all avenues of Physician recruitment.

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU:

  • You will establish relationships with Residency and Fellowship programs and their participants, by engaging with them through events, dinners, and setting up peer relationships.
  • You will leverage internal departments (such as Business Development and our Senior Management Team) to engage with residents and fellows.
  • You will partner with our providers to leverage their networks to source candidates and open doors to residency programs.
  • You will source Physicians through resume databases, associations, websites, alumni networks, LinkedIn, and other sourcing avenues.
  • Work with the Marketing department and external ad agency to create recruiting collateral for events.
  • Attend industry conferences to network with prospective candidates, co-host events with business development/senior management.
  • Manage network of third-party agencies referring Physicians while at the same time decreasing our dependency on agencies.
  • Conduct screening interviews for Physicians and schedule and manage subsequent interviews.
  • Facilitate the offer negotiations and prepare initial term sheet and final employment contract.
  • Partner across the organization to design and facilitate an onboarding program for all providers.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
  • You have 5+ years recruiting experience.
  • You have a proven track record of recruiting Physician or executive level candidates.
  • You have experience establishing recruiting programs and relationships with universities.
  • You are an excellent communicator and relationship builder.
  • Experience recruiting in healthcare preferred.
