Physician - Obstetrics/Gynecology - Westside Women's Care : Job Details

Westside Women's Care, in beautiful Arvada, CO, is seeking a board certified or board eligible OBGYN physician to join our practice. The position would be full-time including office and surgery time, labor and delivery, and shared call with our groups six other physicians.Our salary and benefits are very competitive including payment for shifts covering the emergency room. We take call out of one hospital located in Wheat Ridge, CO (approx. 15 minutes from our office). We perform in-office procedures using in-office anesthesia and have surgery days reserved at our hospital and surgery center. Our hospital was recently rebuilt down the road from its old campus. It is the newest hospital in the state incorporating all of the best technologies such as a top-notch robotics program and beautiful labor and delivery unit. The hospital has a NICU, anesthesia dedicated to labor and delivery, a GYN OR, and incredible nurses and support staff. We very much value a work-life harmony, each physician has a day off during the week and, due to sharing call, many weekends off. Many members of our staff have been with the practice for 20+ years. We have been in practice for over 30 years and value the community we serve.

Arvada, CO is nestled along the foothills about 20 minutes northwest of Denver. It has wonderful restaurants, a great Olde Town full of boutiques, restaurants, festivals and a light rail that can take you directly to Denver where you can find many cultural attractions such as the Buell Theater and Art Museum. If you are a sports fan, you can enjoy watching the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and Denver Nuggets. There is something for everyone!

Arvada is also within an hour of some of the best ski slopes in the world. Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge and Keystone are just a few of the mountain towns that are an easy car ride away. In the summer, there are trails all over Arvada and the surrounding areas. Boulder has some of the best trail systems and is 15 minutes from our office.

Job Requirements:

• Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship program
• Have (or be willing to obtain) a Colorado Medical License
• Doctorate MD or DO required
• Obtain medical privileges at Lutheran Medical Center (Intermountain Health) and Clear Creek Surgery Center (HCA)
• Unrestricted DEA registration
