Physician Assistant (PA) to work 1:1 with our Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon - Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System : Job Details

MGC - Orthopedic and Spine Surgery - Pelham located at Pelham Medical Center is seeking to hire a Physician Assistant (PA) to work 1:1 with our Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon in a busy orthopedic practice. The practice consists of 2 Spine Surgeons, 1 Neurosurgeon, 1 Total Joint Surgeon, 1 Orthopedic Surgeon, 1 Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon, 1 non-operative Orthopaedic Surgeon, and 6 PAs. The ideal candidate will provide surgical first assist, perform clinic duties, hospital rounds and provide shared call coverage. The ideal candidate will have prior ortho spine experience. Highlights of the opportunity are: Monday – Friday with weekend call coverage, average 50-55 hours a week Shared orthopedic call to include level 1 trauma center call Shared hospital rounds Clinic/OR/Rounds primarily located on the Pelham Medical Center campus Prior operating room experience is preferred Spartanburg Regional offers a highly competitive compensation package to include: Paid malpractice to include tail coverage Paid interview and relocation expenses PTO accrual $3,500 CME along with 5 CME days per year Multiple retirement options available Located in the foothills of the Appalachians Mountains, Greenville/Spartanburg offers a family-oriented community with an affordable cost of living, excellent educational systems, and a diverse employment base.
