Physician Assistant (PA) Inpatient Oncology - Nights - TAL Healthcare : Job Details

Of the Physician Assistant (PA), Inpatient Oncology: Obtain complete histories and perform pertinent physical exams, assessing normal and abnormal findings on new and returning patients. Keep the Nurse Manager and Supervising Physician informed regarding needs, problem areas, and suggestions that may benefit the service. Provide focused support to the physician team for Inpatient Oncology, Leukemia, and Soft Tissue Tumor cases. Collaborate with consult services in the diagnosis and treatment of various oncologic conditions, including benign and malignant soft tissue tumors such as sarcomas. Assist in coordinating and interpreting diagnostic workups for soft tissue tumors, including imaging, biopsies, and pathology reports. Participate in perioperative management of soft tissue tumor patients, including pre-surgical planning, post-operative monitoring, symptom control, and survivorship care.
