Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time APP (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join its Orthopedic team. Candidates for this role would work a four (4), tens (10's) schedule, Wednesday - Saturday. Some duties include but are not limited to:The Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA) works in a collaborative relationship with the Chief of Orthopedics, Orthopedic Residents and Advanced Practice providers to deliver exceptional care to patients with musculoskeletal complaints evaluated at or admitted to Highland Hospital. The NP/ PA is responsible for coordination of direct patient care, documentation of care delivered, adherence to hospital and nursing policies, procedures and practice standards, education of patients and staff, creation of Orthopedic Patient Protocols and pathways, Quality Assurance tracking and monitoring , assurance of service excellence, completion of state and hospital-required reviews of practice, and participation in performance improvement ...Nurse Practitioner, Orthopedic, Physician, Assistant, Practitioner, Nurse, Healthcare
