Physician Assistant - One Brooklyn Health : Job Details

Obtain patients medical history and performs initial or periodic physical examinations. Order lab tests and routine and diagnostic procedures required for complete evaluation of patients condition. Make an assessment of patients condition, or suggests a differential diagnosis, based on patients chart, results of tests, physical exam and other established medical policies and procedures. Suggest appropriate treatment of patient and assists in the management of the patient. Prescribe mediation, order routine fluids, diets and similar patient care orders. (Orders must be countersigned by physician). Keep required medical records by recording notes on tests, findings and treatment ordered in patients charts and evaluates patients charts (countersigned by physician). Perform laboratory procedures or procedures to implement the diagnostic assessment and management plan including; drawing blood specimen for testing, blood counts, urinalysis, bacteriologic smears, stains and culture pulmo...Physician, Assistant, Medical, Healthcare, Patient
