Job DescriptionTravel Physical Therapist - Critical Access Facility (Outpatient & Inpatient) Location: South Dakota Shift: Day Shift - 5x8s or 4x10s Contract Length: 13 Weeks Hours: 40 Hours/Week Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join one of our trusted critical access hospital partners in South Dakota. This position offers a fulfilling blend of outpatient and inpatient care in a supportive rural community setting. Position Overview: As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function across various settings. You'll work collaboratively with an experienced clinical team in a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide rehabilitative services to improve strength, range of motion, and overall function
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
Schedule:
- Day Shift
- 5x8s or 4x10s (flexible schedule)
- 13-week contract with potential for extension
- 40 hours scheduled per week
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of South Dakota (or willing to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current BLS certification
- Previous inpatient and/or outpatient experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
