Position Overview: As a Physical Therapist (PT) - Lymphedema, you'll provide direct care across multiple settings, including outpatient, inpatient rehab, and acute care. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest level of care for patients with lymphedema and other diagnoses. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy in outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to offer optimal care for various patient diagnoses.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation reflecting patient progress toward goals.
  • Manage a busy caseload and support acute/inpatient rehab coverage as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Lead Physical Therapist on scheduling needs.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, licensing, and continuing education requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Required)
Licenses/Certifications:
  • North Carolina Physical Therapist License (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification (Preferred)
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of physical therapy services in outpatient settings, with experience in acute or inpatient rehab appreciated.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Efficient in time management and documentation practices.
