Salary: $74,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments using appropriate tools based on patient age and developmental level.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and select interventions suitable for the patient's age and abilities.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment, amending treatment plans as needed and providing updates on patient status to families and healthcare teams.
  • Document clinical progress and interventions in accordance with policy, including daily notes and discharge summaries.
  • Provide education to patients and families to support continued functional independence and integrate them into treatment and discharge planning.
  • Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and attending professional workshops.
  • Adhere to all applicable federal and state guidelines and maintain a high level of professionalism within the clinical setting.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of New York.
  • Mandatory BLS certification.
  • Proven experience in a physical therapy role, with a strong understanding of various treatment modalities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced certification in physical therapy or a specialized area within the field.
  • Prior experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
