The Physical Therapist is responsible for independently evaluating and determining treatment strategies to rehabilitate, remediate, and prevent acute or prolonged physical dysfunction and/or pain. In this role you will receive an annual $1500 CME allowance, five weeks of PTO and seven paid holidays, employer nonelective 401k contributions, traditional healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision), and be eligible for an annual company bonus.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities through comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training to improve patient mobility, strength, and independence.
- Perform therapeutic application of chemical and physical agents.
- Track and document patient progress, adjusting plans of care as needed to meet therapy goals.
- Comply with federal, state, and professional guidelines, including HIPAA and documentation standards.
- Manage a full caseload efficiently while providing high-quality, one-on-one care.
- Promote patient engagement and motivation through clear communication, goal setting, and positive reinforcement.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of treatment areas/equipment in accordance with clinic policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Accredited Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree required.
- Accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree highly preferred.
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license required.
- CPR certification required.
- FBI and Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearances required.
- Knowledge in examination techniques and therapeutic procedures required.
- Prior work experience as a Physical Therapist preferred.
