Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to provide physical therapy to patients of all age groups. Performs clinical assessments to identify patient needs and appropriateness of patient care. Develops and implements treatment plans based on medical referral and therapy assessments. Assists and instructs patients and families in transfer techniques and the use of equipment. Provides patient and family education regarding therapeutic procedures. Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions to prevent contamination and transmission of disease. Critical Information Accepts clinical assignments consistent with education and competence to care for patients. Requires working under stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient needs. Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
