Physical Therapist - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is hiring a Physical Therapist our client's medical facility in Cortlandt, NY 10567. This is a 50-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

• Physical Therapist. 40 hours per week; 5x8s Rotating day and evening (will vary between 8a and 830p as needed)

• PT License in NYS

• BLS (AHA)

• Bachelor's or master's degree

Physical Therapist:

• Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering treatments, etc. in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury.

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.

• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.

• Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.

• Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.

• Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.

• Advising patients on exercise techniques.

• Advising patients and their families about in-home treatment options.

• Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote physical health.

Experience required:

• Minimum 2-3 Plus Years of physical therapy experience is required.

• Outpatient and EPIC experience required.

• Job Duration: 13 weeks

• Shifts: 40 hours per week; 5x8s Rotating day and evening (will vary between 8a and 830p as needed)

• Weekly Travel Pay Range: $2600/week to $2900/week

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
