Title: Physical Therapist Location: Bronx, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract, Mon-Fri 09:00am-05:00pm Compensation: Pay Range: $46.55-$66.50 Per HR Description: Perform patient-related activities under supervision. Complete assessments and treatment documentation. Maintain a safe environment and adhere to safety protocols. Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings. Provide clinical instruction to students and volunteers. Engage in performance improvement activities. Work within the scope of practice and competencies. Key Responsibilities: Complete assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Conduct participant evaluations at various locations. Consult with other professionals as needed. Initiate discharge planning and order necessary equipment. Participate in in-service training programs. Document all pertinent participant information accurately. Qualifications: Successful completion of a Physical Therapy program from an accredited university. New York State licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist. One year of experience as a Physical Therapist or with the geriatric population preferred. Ability to establish rapport with patients and staff. Ability to travel to various participant locations. Knowledge of relevant regulations and electronic medical records. Bilingual skills preferred based on participant demographics.
