In-Home Physical Therapist Position

Location: Hendersonville, NC Employment Type: PRN Contractor Role Pay Rate: $50-60/hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus mileage compensation; Sign-On Bonus: $500-$1,000 based on commitment level

Role Summary

We're seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for our In-Home Specialist position, which involves traveling throughout the Hendersonville area to deliver physical therapy services to patients in their homes.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide individualized therapy sessions within patients' homes, modifying techniques to suit their environment
  • Develop dynamic, customized treatment strategies that target functional objectives specific to home settings
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs and aspirations
  • Conduct patient evaluations and create personalized exercise protocols utilizing household items and available space
  • Complete thorough, and timely documentation of patient assessments and treatment outcomes
  • Deliver education and guidance to patients and families regarding independent management strategies
  • Maintain proactive communication with team members regarding patient status and appointment coordination

Working Arrangements:

Requirements

  • Current North Carolina Physical Therapy license

  • Expertise in manual therapy methods, therapeutic exercise, and functional rehabilitation
