Job type: Full-time, outpatient clinic (adult).
Shift: Full time, part time, PRN, flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical limitations or impairments.
- Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
- Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any changes in status.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- 12 - 14 patients/day ( 1 pt every 30 mins).
- Management of PTA & aides, 1- 2 at most.
- Benefit of leadership skills without additional administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- DPT in Physical THERAPY.
- NEW GRADS WELCOME.
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Knowledge of the latest therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Strong commitment to ethical and professional standards in healthcare.
