Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initiate skilled physical therapy treatments following physician's orders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries for residents.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss and address the special needs of residents to optimize care.
- Contribute to Resident Care Planning meetings and provide cover for the Director of Physical Therapy when needed.
- Manage statistical records of resident treatments and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Facilitate in-service training programs and assume duties of the Director of Physical Therapy during their absence.
- Order and manage supplies required for resident treatments ensuring availability and efficiency.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MS/DPT).
- Must have a current PT license or be eligible for licensing in New York State.
- New graduates of accredited PT programs are welcome to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility.
