Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Location: New York, NY 10003 Duration: 3 Months Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:15 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team for a temporary 3-month assignment. The PTA will implement patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring consistent communication, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer treatments based on the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment.
• Communicate regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan updates.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Notify supervising therapist promptly of any changes in patient condition.
• Provide input on durable medical equipment needs in coordination with the care team.
• Participate in discharge planning and therapy continuation recommendations.
• Attend team meetings, conferences, in-services, and rounds as required.
• Participate in the supervision and mentorship of PTA students during clinical placements.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of New York
• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
