Job Summary:

In this rewarding role, you will conduct medically prescribed physical therapy, utilizing your skills to assist in patient recovery and rehabilitation. You will work in a safe and supportive environment where your contributions will be valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physical therapy interventions based on a plan developed by a physical therapist.
• Utilize appropriate techniques and skills to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
• Document all treatment interventions accurately and thoroughly.
• Guide and coordinate activities of physical therapy aides and students.
• Maintain alertness and safety while performing all duties.
• Engage in additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Experience:

• No previous experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent use of hearing and vision for communication and safety.
• Occasional lifting of patients and objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

Licensure/Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in your state of practice.
