Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Hempstead, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract, Mon-Fri 08:30am-04:30pm Compensation: Pay Range: $25.97-$37.10 Per HR Description: Provide support in physical therapy services to patients. Work collaboratively with a team in a short-term and long-term rehab setting. Assist in outpatient clinical services. Maintain a strong commitment to patient success and care. Adhere to healthcare industry standards and guidelines. Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills. Apply problem-solving skills effectively in clinical scenarios. Key Responsibilities: Assist in administering physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment. Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions. Maintain therapy equipment and ensure cleanliness and readiness. Qualifications: NY State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year experience in short-term and/or long-term rehab settings. Experience in outpatient clinical settings.
