Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Dingmans Ferry , PA

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-1pm so you can start your weekend early! No Weekends!

Compensation: Hourly rate range is $25-$33/hr based on your experience.

Incentives: $5,000 Sign on Bonus!

Our NovaCare Rehabilitationoutpatient orthopedic center is seeking alicensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Unique Location/Job Details: Diverse outpatient orthopedic center on is looking for a PTA. 2 PT, 1 PTA and front desk on staff. Diverse patient mix included, orthopedics, sports medicine, neuro, vestibular and post-concussion. New grads or experienced PTAs welcome to apply. Orientation and training provided as well as mentorship for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

• CPR certification
