Job DetailsJob Location Pawhuska Hospital, Inc. - Pawhuska, OK Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day DescriptionPRN PTA**This is a safety sensitive position Follow treatment plans created by PTs that involve stretching, strength training, exercises and physical manipulation to help people recover. PT assistants will track progress and report to the physical therapist. In addition, PT assistants are in charge of the treatment area, making sure that it is clean, neat, and ready for each patient. Education and/or Experience
- Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school.
- Two (2) years pervious experience as Physical Therapist in a hospital setting.
- Previous hospital experience preferred
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents.
- Ability to make presentations before top management, public groups, and staff regarding infectious diseases.
- Ability to work independently, with no direction.
Education and/or Experience:
- Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school.
- Two (2) years previousexperience as Physical Therapist in a hospital setting.
- Previous hospital experience preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistance in the state of Oklahoma.
- Current BLS certification.
