Job Summary: The position is responsible for administering and maintaining the various access system platforms utilized by Froedtert Hospital. This includes assisting with the development of policy and procedure that follows best practice guidelines, system support and training, user maintenance, and periodic audit to ensure accurate records. This role will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders such as Froedtert Leaders and other security contractors. Contributes to other aspects of Badging Office operations. Additionally, the position will also be a key contributor in the Badging Office's technological strategy, assessing, recommending and implementing system solutions to enhance efficiency, visibility and control over operational access system processes. Performs analytics on metrics and compiles reports. Supports Physical Security Specialist.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: 0-3 years of previous Security or related experience required. Experience with security systems is required. Previous experience with access control systems is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Associate's Degree. In lieu of degree, 3-5 years of related experience. Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks Willingness to learn and improve Highly motivated and ability to operate under limited supervision Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure situations Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Proficiency in typing is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Need to be able to manipulate data into spreadsheets and graphs. Excellent customer relations skills are required. A government security clearance is preferred.
