The opportunity

You will work with a wide variety of clients to harness the power of Physical AI and robotics to achieve their strategic goals. Your teams will design and build scalable solutions that unify, enrich, and derive insights from varied data sources across a broad technology landscape. You will help our clients navigate the complex world of modern data science, modelling, and engineering.

In our Data and Decision Science practice, this role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI systems. You will be at the forefront of enhancing data pipelines and ensuring the integrity of data for optimal performance. Your expertise will help shape the future of AI solutions across various environments, including cloud and on-premises.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for researching, building, and implementing scalable artificial intelligence systems that meet diverse business requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing data pipelines and storage to ensure data is clean, accurate, and optimized.
  • Monitoring and optimizing learning processes to improve high-performance models.
  • Collaborating with data and analytics professionals to industrialize analysis into actionable solutions.
  • In this role, you will manage complex processes and projects while maintaining a focus on quality and risk management. You will lead teams to achieve performance objectives and provide deep insights into best practices for solving complex problems. This position requires regular travel to engage with clients and manage relationships effectively.

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive physical AI Strategy that aligns with the client's goals, mission and vision.
  • Leading teams of Physical AI engineers and data scientists in delivery of modern robotics and autonomous systems solutions for clients.
  • Staying abreast of physical AI technology trends and provide directional guidance and recommendations around robotic platforms, sensing, and software tools and solutions that fit their needs and integrate with their existing ecosystem.
  • Applying combined business and technical knowledge to develop and execute target architecture that enables implementation and monitoring of Physical AI at scale.
  • Collaborating with Data Scientists, Mechanical Engineers, Cloud Engineers, MLOps Engineers, DevOps to implement and sustain solutions in the client's platform of choice.
  • Strong team collaboration and experience working with a diverse team in a hybrid model (on site and remote).
  • Strong computational thinking and programming skills.
  • Proficiency in deep learning, machine learning, and data architecture design.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Focused on Business or Economics, Technology Entrepreneurship, Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
  • Typically, no less than 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of professional consulting experience in business or technology consulting or similar roles.
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience directly managing technical teams and/or consulting teams.
  • Experience in robotics and autonomous systems controls, sensing, modeling and simulation.
  • Experience with a variety of robotic platforms.
  • Extensive experience using DevOps tools.
  • A solid understanding of Machine Learning (ML) workflows.
  • Experience with ML development methods and platforms.
  • Strong skills in Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD and test-driven development.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining ML models, frameworks, and pipelines.
  • Experience designing and deploying end to end ML workflows on at least one major cloud computing platform.
  • Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software engineering best practices.
  • Proficiency using data manipulation tools and libraries.
  • Willingness to travel to meet client obligations.
  • Strong knowledge of physical AI technologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
