Research, select and edit images for inclusion in stories published on msnbc.com and our digital platforms. Monitor news agency feeds to identify strong images for breaking and developing news stories and our live blogs. Edit and compose captions and headlines for photos and galleries on our digital platforms. Create photo essays and photo galleries for msnbc.com. Work with multiple stakeholders and execute assignments from editors on a wide range of topics Pitch and produce photo and art-driven stories for our websites and digital platforms Qualifications. At least 3 years as a photo editor at a news organization, or a comparable body of freelance work. Bachelor's degree or equivalent years or relevant work experience. Portfolio that demonstrates an eye for storytelling, concept and composition Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Experience working in a CMS - Strong written communication skills.
