About the Role Join our devoted team as a Phlebotomist Specialist, an essential role in a fertility patient's journey toward parenthood. In this position, you will engage with patients through their journey and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to guarantee exceptional care and service.

Location: California Fertility Partners, Los Angeles, California

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a required weekend rotation from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples from patients of all ages.
• Ensure proper patient identification, sample labeling, and accurate documentation.
• Prepare and transport blood samples for laboratory testing, adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment for safety and infection control.
• Provide clear instructions and reassure patients during procedures.
• Assist with and chaperone ultrasound procedures.
• Monitor and manage phlebotomy supply inventory.
• Support front desk operations including patient check-in, scheduling, and updating medical records.
• Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to ensure timely and precise results.
• Comply with all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Take on other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a certified phlebotomy program.
• Active and valid California Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) license required.
• 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with patients and clinical staff.
• Proficiency in maintaining lab safety and infection control standards.
• Able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
