Job Description:The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health checks or life-defining lab tests. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for testing while adhering to strict procedural guidelines. This role involves direct patient interaction and requires building trust through clear communication and professional conduct. The PSR I is expected to demonstrate leadership behaviors, maintain confidentiality, and ensure accuracy in handling patient information.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily activities with accuracy and timeliness under supervisor direction
Maintain a professional and safe work environment
Collect forensic and clinical specimens confidently, following established procedures
Maintain and update necessary records and documentation
Promote a positive image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Ability to deliver error-free work in a high-paced environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification required in California, Nevada, and Washington
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months experience
1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
Keyboard and data entry experience required
