Primary Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative Location: Carmel, NY (Onsite) Shift/Work Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Every Other Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Must work every Saturday) Date Posted: 7/25/25 Employment Type: Contract (3 Months) Salary Range: $18 - $21/hr Job Description The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health needs or significant medical diagnostics. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing, ensuring adherence to all protocols. The role involves direct patient interaction, creating a comfortable environment while performing skilled, safe, and accurate procedures. The PSR I is expected to demonstrate leadership, maintain confidentiality, and focus on process excellence. Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the supervisor's direction
• Maintain a safe and professional environment
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties confidently and accurately
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, WA)

Experience:

• Minimum 6 months required
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred
• Customer service experience in retail or the service industry is preferred
• Proficiency in keyboarding/data entry is essential
