Job Description :

Join our dynamic laboratory team as a Full-time Mobile Phlebotomist! We are excited to bring you this opportunity, which comes with a recruitment/retention bonus of up to $1,000.00.

This position involves a 40-hour work week with Monday-Friday varying day shifts. Please note that travel to multiple draw stations is required.

Locations include:

  • Troy
  • Clifton Park
  • Delmar
  • Latham
  • Niskayuna
  • Albany

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain specimens and provide back-up support for office operations.
  • Perform venipunctures, protimes, and strep tests.
  • Process and prepare specimens for transport to our lab.
  • Communicate lab results to patients via our automated voicemail system.
  • Order and manage inventory of medical supplies.
  • Assist in scheduling by canceling and rescheduling patient appointments when necessary.
  • Document information accurately in patient records in a timely manner.
  • Ensure a smooth and timely patient flow.
  • Stay informed on company policies and procedures through staff meetings and communications.
  • Address any patient concerns or complaints with the Site Manager.

Annual salary range: $17.50 - $23.00

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical chart reporting and records is essential.
  • CPR certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
  • Effective organization and task prioritization abilities.
