Phlebotomist ll - Laboratory - Per Diem - Guthrie Healthcare : Job Details

Responsible for the collection of blood and other specimens from all patient populations using prescribed procedures with accuracy, skill, professionalism and superb customer service. Duties may require on and off site phlebotomy, specimen transport and specimen delivery duties. Other specialized duties including patient lab order management, processing specimens for testing, blood study kit handling, paternity testing, breathe alcohol testing, lab order entry and acting as a first responder to MTP, and various emergency condition codes. Performs patient registration duties. Education, License & Cert: Phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory setting or completion of phlebotomy training at vocational or other training center is required. Other requirements include excellent interpersonal skills and computer competency. Valid driver's license required.
