Your Role:

  • Ensure that operations comply with state and federal regulations, including FDA approved procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP, to uphold the highest production standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive donor experience aligned with our company values.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area at all times.
  • Confirm donor identification and uphold donor confidentiality in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare all necessary equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
  • Accurately label each unit and collect samples according to established protocols.
  • Perform venipunctures and plasma collection with utmost attention to safety and quality.
  • Operate automated plasmapheresis machines, including monitoring alarms, evaluating donor conditions, and responding to any adverse events.
  • Assist donors throughout the process, ensuring their comfort and safety while maintaining the quality of the plasma product.
  • Handle the disposal of biohazardous waste and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular calibration and maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting any alerts as necessary.
  • Report unsafe conditions to management promptly and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • State-specific certification or licensing may be necessary.
  • A minimum of three months' experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and the capability to document accurately.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling, including daytime, evening, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
  • Ability to perform venipunctures is required.
