Now Hiring: Phlebotomist I – Liverpool, NY (Full-Time, Onsite)

Location: 5112 W Taft Road, Liverpool, NY 13088

Contract- 3+months

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:45 AM–5:30 PM (varied), with rotating Saturdays 7:00 AM–11:00 AM

Pay Rate: $17-$19.50/hr (depending on experience)

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomist I to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Liverpool Patient Service Center in Liverpool, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 20–50 quality blood draws daily from a wide range of patients
• Work in a medium-sized PSC alongside one other full-time staff member
• Handle pediatric and geriatric collections, including hard sticks and urine specimens
• Accurately process and label specimens for testing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in documentation
• Undergo initial training at another PSC location for 1–2 weeks (computer-based learning)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Previous Patient Service Center (PSC) experience strongly preferred
• Proficient in venipuncture on all patient types, including hard-to-draw individuals
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift
• Team-oriented with good attention to detail
• Vaccinations required: TB and Hepatitis B
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently

This is a 3-month contract position, with strong potential for extension or conversion based on performance.
