Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team for an evening shift. The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy experience and a commitment to patient care in a fast-paced, hospital setting. You will be responsible for collecting samples, processing lab tests, and ensuring accurate data entry in Epic. Job Description Job Title: Phlebotomist Location: Lincoln City, OR Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days (0700-1530) occasional weekends Experience/Education/Qualifications: Healthcare Provider Level BLS required. Must have completed an approved Phlebotomy Training Program or have at least 1 year of recent phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomist Certification preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in phlebotomy. Key Responsibilities Collect blood samples, body fluids, and tissue from patients. Process lab tests for inpatients, emergency room patients, and outpatient/clinic specimens. Ensure the accuracy of specimen collection and proper labeling. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure timely test results. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols. Provide excellent patient care and handle sensitive situations with compassion.
