Responsibilities :

• Collect blood samples via venipuncture and skin puncture

• Accurately label and prepare specimens for lab analysis

• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and ease concerns

• Follow proper protocols for infection control and patient safety

• Enter documentation in the electronic medical records system

• Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient-centered care ****

Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED

• Certification from an accredited phlebotomy program

• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)

• 1+ year of inpatient hospital or clinical phlebotomy experience

• Ability to work flexible schedules (weekends, evenings, holidays)
