AS A PHLEBOTOMIST, you will be responsible for performing and attaining phlebotomy samples of all types except arterial on in-patients and out-patients.
QUALIFICATIONS: - High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Prior experience working in the medical setting
- Must have taken a certified phlebotomy course- must attain ASCP certification within 2 years of being hired to role (or completion of a practice nursing program).
- Ability to work independently.
- Computer skills
Please note: If you hold a certificate that does not expire-you must be a member with either ASCP or AMT. If you are on a maintenance program with an expiration - you are not required to be a member but must maintain your certification. WHAT WE OFFER:
