We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Phlebotomist/Clerical Coordinator at our facility you will be an integral part of our Laboratory team. We are a highly functioning team that supports many different departments and has a passion for providing the best patient care through compassionate, professional interactions and reliable testing. In this role:* You will coordinate laboratory processes of test ordering, scheduling, registration, interpreting physician orders, and report distribution.* You will be responsible for the daily billing process of patients by the Laboratory department, ensuring that patients have been billed properly and for the correct tests.* You will act as a resource for all clerical/phlebotomy staff members.* You will arrange for procedures to be performed and give accurate and thorough collection procedures to patients.* You will complete any special projects assigned by the Laboratory Director.Qualifications:* Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.* Good verbal and writing skills required.* Good computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required.For 150 years, St. Marks Hospital has provided a full-spectrum of healthcare services to Salt Lake City and its surrounding communities.
