Pharmacy Technician (FULL TIME) - Southwest Health System : Job Details

Willing to train and assist the right person with obtaining a Pharmacy Tech License.\n. Assists the Pharmacist by filling physician orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use; mixes IV admixture solutions as required using aseptic technique in the Laminar Air Flow hood; type's labels, prepares and files charge slips and performs other related duties. Performs duties under the auspices of the Pharmacist's license.\n. Regulatory\/ Educational Requirements:\n\n. High School Diploma or equivalent.\n. Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience or subsequent training.\n. Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (C - Ph. T) certification.\n. Current BLS certification.\n\n. Language Skills:\n\n. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. \n. Additional languages preferred.\n.
