Pharmacy Technician 1 - On-Site - A-Line Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Work with the Pharmacists to accurately prepare prescription orders in a timely manner. Interact with various departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a timely basis. Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Perform prescription data entry functions (pre. QA) by viewing images and inputting prescription information directly into the system. Prepare and submit request for prescription refills. Initiate clarification requests. Receive verbal instructions from prescribers as allowed by pharmacy regulation. Complete reorder processing for the timely filling of prescription refills. Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements, and company policies. Complete work list according to guidelines set by Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Critical Information Current state Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
