Performs all duties requested by the pharmacist. Performs minor calculations. Enters data accurately and efficiently from new prescriptions sent via electronic prescribing, fax, and handwritten or transferred prescriptions. Communicates effectively with nursing and clinical staff Answers phone calls prioritizing customer service and assisting customers appropriately Maintains patient profiles with most up to date information Dispenses completed prescriptions under the pharmacist's supervision ensuring correct drug is filled and appropriate quantity is dispensed Participates in a rotating workflow where you are able to do something different every day Restocks the pharmacy shelves with supplies, drugs, etc., as needed.
