This job accurately compounds IV admixtures and other assigned preparations utilizing aseptic technique and proper pharmaceutical procedures; maintains stock in all assigned areas including the IV room, Central Pharmacy, compounded items and bottles and vials; accurately fills medication orders; and accurately enters ADR data into computer.

Education:
Required - Enrolled in good standing in an accredited College of Pharmacy or graduate who has successfully passed the NABP Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination
Work Experience:
Required - Experience working with standard pharmacy and office equipment.
Certifications:
Required - Current Pharmacy Intern Permit from the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy, permitted to practice as a pharmacy intern by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
