Pharmacy Refill Representative - Greater Lawrence Family Health Center : Job Details

Seeking an experienced and bilingual (English / Spanish) Pharmacy Refill Representative to join our team. This customer-focused position requires someone who can demonstrate fundamental clinical knowledge of medications and the refill process. Located in our Call Center, this position is 100% phone based so communication skills are critical. Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): - Accurately documents patient pharmacy renewal request(s) in electronic medical record (EMR) prescription template. - Faxes information as directed to outside pharmacies. Maintains accurate information regarding local pharmacies telephone numbers, fax numbers and addresses. - Completes prior authorization and medical necessity forms and submits to clinician for signature in a timely manner.
