As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will have a meaningful role within our pharmacy team, contributing to our mission and demonstrating authentic care for our patients. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Participating in quality assurance and customer service initiatives
• Assisting with inventory management and workflow optimization

Key Responsibilities: As a pharmacy intern, you will play a pivotal role in promoting patient health through various care programs. Additionally, you will:

Education: Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

• Enrollment in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure in process or obtained
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to fulfill state training requirements within specified timelines

Physical Requirements: Successful candidates must have the ability to:

• Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
• Visually inspect and transcribe information accurately

Preferred Qualifications:

• Eligibility for immunization provision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Once state regulations are met, pharmacy interns should aim to provide patient immunizations, as this is a vital function of pharmacists.

Compensation: The typical pay range for this role is $18.50 - $20.25. At CVS Health, we are leading a new approach to total health care.
