Position Summary: As a third-year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you'll gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a fulfilling career as a pharmacist. Under the guidance of your preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap that ensures you understand and contribute to pharmacy operations, customer service, and patient care.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Applying your pharmacy education to deliver safe and accurate prescription fulfillment while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Providing exceptional customer service by engaging empathetically with patients during interactions, including at the pick-up counter and over the phone.
• Assisting in patient counseling and understanding their medical history to support optimal care under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Handling telephonic prescriptions and coordinating with prescribers for any necessary clarifications.
• Contributing to pharmacy team success and mentoring fellow team members on best practices.
• Completing inventory activities and ensuring efficient medication management.
• Commiting to ongoing learning and development while adapting to varying business needs and schedules.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Working towards obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as per requirements.
• Ability to provide patient immunizations upon meeting state regulations.
