Position Overview: As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy teams while developing essential skills for your future career as a Pharmacist. Under the guidance of your preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap designed to provide you with hands-on experience and insights into pharmacy operations at the store, district, and regional levels.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operation and timely fulfillment of prescriptions.
• Engaging with patients to provide empathetic and caring service during their interactions.
• Learning and applying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices to maintain safety and accuracy.
• Completing training activities that enhance clinical and technical knowledge.
• Maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety.
• Contributing to a positive team environment and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
• Participating in the administration of immunizations and other health care services as permitted.

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Possessing or actively pursuing valid intern or technician licensure.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and provide excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to travel to other locations as needed.
