Position Summary: As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy teams while honing your expertise in preparation for a future Pharmacist role. You will apply your pharmacy school knowledge in a real-world setting under the guidance of your preceptor, completing a comprehensive training roadmap that offers insights into pharmacy operations, including store, district, and regional practices.

In this hands-on role, you will:

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices consistently.
• Engage with patients, offering empathy and genuine care during interactions.
• Handle prescription information and administrative tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Complete required training and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to various stores as needed.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy school.
• In the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication, customer service skills, and mathematical reasoning.
• Physical capability to carry out job functions including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification as per state regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
