As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy team, helping us fulfill our mission and values while showing genuine care for our patients.

In this role, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will be critical in maintaining a safe and effective pharmacy environment. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Patient Safety
• Pharmacy Professional Practice
• Compliance with Regulatory Requirements
• Quality Assurance
• Outstanding Customer Service
• Inventory Management
• Workflow Management (not including final prescription verification)

You will also be responsible for promoting health through patient care programs. Additionally, you will:

Education Requirements:

• Currently accepted into or enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.

Basic Qualifications:

• Enrollment in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Active pursuit of valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to complete all required training as per state guidelines within the specified timeframe.
• Must possess the following physical abilities:
• Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Stay mobile and upright for extended periods.
• Lift, scan, and bag items.
• Excellent finger dexterity for tasks such as typing and handling small objects.
• Capability to reach overhead and grasp items as needed.
• Ability to adjust equipment with precision.
• Stoop and manage the physical demands of lifting and moving various items.
• Close visual acuity for tasks including transcribing and examining small parts.
• Effective verbal communication skills to relay information to team members and customers.
• Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Eligibility for immunization administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Aim to provide immunizations as permitted by state regulations, a key function of pharmacists.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.75
