1. Develops familiarity with medications: generic and trade names, methods of administration, usual dosages, usual dosage schedules and conversion between metric and apothecary systems .. Distributes automated dispensing cabinetry with appropriate dosage forms and monitors discharge and transfer lists and removes and transfers bins appropriately .. Delivers medications along with appropriate labels .. Repackages tablets, capsules and liquid medication, operate re-packaging machine and assigns expiration dates as per policy .. Handles and distributes controlled substances and investigational drugs .. Prepares topical and irrigation solutions .. Restocks floor stock/automated dispensing cabinetry ..
