As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will play an essential role within our pharmacy team, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care and embodying our values.

Your Role: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help create a safe and effective pharmacy environment, ensuring quality care for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting patient safety and adhering to pharmacy professional practices
  • Understanding and complying with regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring quality assurance and outstanding customer service
  • Managing inventory and workflow efficiently (excluding final prescription verification)

Key Responsibilities: As a pharmacy intern, you will lead patient care programs that keep our customers healthy. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating empathy and compassion towards patients, customers, and colleagues
  • Collaborating with others to improve health outcomes
  • Fostering a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm

Education: You must be accepted into or enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Possess or be working towards valid intern/technician licensure as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to complete required training within state guidelines and timeframes
  • Capacity to be present regularly, including nights and weekends
  • Physical capability to lift, scan, and bag items

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Eligible for immunization certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Once you meet state regulations, you will strive to provide patient immunizations, a key pharmacy function.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $42.00
