Pharmacy Intern - Albertsons : Job Details

As a pharmacy intern, you will focus on:

• Patient counseling and customer service
• Over-the-counter medications, immunization, and vaccinations
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Point of care testing and disease state management

Your Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or pharmacist preceptor
• Fill prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies
• Provide tailored advice and consultations to customers and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and health-related products
• Support company initiatives aimed at enhancing pharmacy profitability
• Participate actively in clinical services

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy
• Must possess a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment
• Ability to adapt positively to changing schedules and work priorities
• Strong teamwork skills and cooperation with others
