As a third-year pharmacy intern, you are an integral member of our pharmacy team, upholding our mission, embodying our values, and providing authentic care to our patients.

In this role, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment and delivering outstanding patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: A core aspect of your role as a pharmacy intern is promoting health through patient care programs. You will:

Education: Applicants must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active enrollment in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Intern and/or technician licensure (in process or obtained)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Timely completion of all training per state guidelines

Ability Requirements:

  • Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Remain mobile and upright for extended periods
  • Lift, scan, and bag items as needed
  • Engage in finger dexterity for tasks
  • Reach overhead and perform various physical tasks
  • Exhibit close visual acuity for detailed work
  • Communicate orally with patients and team members
  • Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and exert force as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for immunization administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Once you meet state regulations, we encourage pharmacy interns to strive for providing patient immunizations as an essential function of the pharmacist.

Compensation: The pay range for this role is $18.00 - $19.75.
